The Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) Alcohol and Drug Dependence Rehabilitation Program provides medical, social, vocational, and rehabilitation therapies to eligible alcohol and drug dependent Veterans.
Many veterans have problems with use of alcohol, tobacco, or drugs. This can include use of street drugs as well as using prescription medications in ways they weren’t prescribed. The Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP) provides services to assist in reintegrating homeless veterans into meaningful employment within the labor force and to stimulate development of service delivery systems to address complex problems facing homeless veterans.
