Who We Are
A program of Horizon Behavioral Health, Access Services is the first contact with Adult and Family Services to present the problem or need for treatment. Assessment screenings are made by telephone or face to face or on a walk-in basis. Screenings are conducted by qualified mental health and substance abuse professionals to determine eligibility and to make appropriate referrals in the community. Access Services provides the initial comprehensive evaluations for adults who are eligible for services to determine the appropriate level of care. Referrals are then made to the appropriate services within the Adult and Family Department.

Intake Process
Call for a required appointment. Same day assessments for all ages are available Monday through Friday from 8:30AM-3:00PM. Same day assessments at the Bedford center are available on Mondays only.
