Who We Are

Hampton Roads Community Action Program offers a rental assistance program.   The Virginia Homeless Solutions Program (VHSP) provides temporary rental or mortgage assistance and supportive services related to housing and financial literacy issues for individuals and families experiencing a financial crisis and being evicted to try to remain housed.

This program also assists individuals and families residing in shelters or on the street to be rapidly rehoused.

Other Eligibility Criteria
This program is available to James City County, City of Williamsburg and Upper York County residents. Individuals in housing crisis need to call the Housing Crisis Hotline to complete the intake process - referrals and resources will be suggested.
