Who We Are

The Central Virginia Continuum of Care (CVCoC) is a coalition of agencies, nonprofits, congregations, and individuals working to end homelessness in central Virginia. The CVCoC is responsible for the homeless response system that meets the needs of persons experiencing homelessness.

This service refers clients to the most appropriate homeless assistance programs including prevention and emergency shelters. This service is the Central Intake for homeless or at risk homeless individuals within Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell counties. The CVCoC's service can be done in person or over the phone, and is located at the Lynchburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority.
