Who We Are
The Laurels Recovery Center, a program of the Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board, operates two regional residential programs:
- The Laurels is a two phase program that includes medically supervised detox and stabilization services in Phase I and short term residential treatment and rehabilitation services in Phase II.
- The Laurels Residential Recovery is a crisis stabilization unit. The program provides an integrated and comprehensive community based continuum of residential care that includes medically supervised detox and stabilization services, counseling and educational services, crisis stabilization services, medication services, and peer recovery support services.
Both programs are licensed to accept individuals on a voluntary basis, on an involuntary basis via a Temporary Detention Order (TDO), and on voluntary and involuntary commitment orders.

Serves individuals with substance use needs. Priority admission is given to pregnant and parenting women and individuals with co-occurring diagnoses.
