Who We Are

Ashland Christian Emergency Services (ACES) is a volunteer organization that joined with Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Functions (MCEF) in offering rides to seniors age 60 and  older who are no longer able to drive, but would like to stay in their home as long as possible.

This free transportation program is for scheduled  medical appointments, grocery shopping, and for personal business, such as banking.

Rides can also be provided to those who may have a medical condition that requires frequent trips for medical treatment, such as dialysis or chemotherapy. 

Drivers are needed.  Volunteer drivers are paid 25 cents per mile and are provided liability insurance coverage.  Please call for more information if you can be a driver.

ACES is open on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00AM-12:00PM. During the months of July and August, the agency is closed on Fridays.
