Crossing Place is located in the community of Woodley Park, near convenient public transportation and community services, this 8-bed facility offers short-term emergency shelter and crisis stabilization for persons experiencing acute phases of severe mental illness. Crossing Place provides intensive support services at approximately 1/3rd the cost of hospitalization. The home-like environment is staffed 24/7 with professional counselors who work with the Department of Mental Health, medical and psychiatric physicians, and case managers to provide intensive support to residents.
