Military Group for Survivors of Fallen Service Members

Fort Gregg-Adams's Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) sponsors support groups for spouses of fallen services members.

• The Older Spouse Support Group is for older surviving spouses of fallen services members who died on active duty in the Fort Gregg-Adams community and surrounding areas, and surviving spouses of retirees.  The group is held bi-monthly on Thursday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the Army Community Services (ACS), Building 9023, 1231 Mahone Avenue, Fort Lee.

• The Parent Support Group is for parents of fallen service members in the Fort Lee community and surrounding areas.  The group is held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Ironbridge Baptist Church, 10900 Iron Bridge Road, Chester, VA 23831, 804-796-6868.

SOS also provides Benefit Coordinators that provide expertise on local state and Federal benefits; Financial Counseling; and Support Coordinators that ensure the survivor receives all the necessary services.
