Who We Are

Barbara C. Terry Society offers emergency assistance to struggling households, helping families meet the needs of housing (rent and mortgage), food, utilities and transportation.  Fund focuses on helping families who do not qualify for other community based services and who are facing an economic crisis for the first time.



Eligibility requirements:  Resident of Caroline, King George, Stafford, Spotsylvania or Fredericksburg.  Must be working or recently unemployed.  Must be experiencing a financial hardship for the first time, meaning no previous assistance received.



Individuals, groups and businesses can make a contribution to this fund by sending a donation to Barbara C. Terry Society, c/o Rappahannock United Way, 3310 Shannon Park Drive, Fredericksburg VA 22408.
