Who We Are
Menchville House is a 46 bed emergency housing facility for homeless families, located in the Denbigh area of Newport News. The 46-bed facility offers shelter for homeless families with children up to 18 years of age. The House can accommodate up to 16 homeless families.
Women who come to Menchville House may be victims of domestic violence, homeless, leaving incarceration or a substance abuse program, left destitute due to death, separation or divorce, or abandonment, otherwise in need of a safe place to go.
Programs offered are case management, housing assistance, financial literacy, goal development, nutritional advice, healthcare assistance, employment assistance, educational assistance, and children's programs. For more about programs call (757) 833-5980.
