Who We Are
Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) provides emergency shelter at its SERVE campus. SERVE offers a 92-bed family emergency shelter. The Shelter offers case management, advocacy, financial management, housing referral, employment assistance, child care assistance, life skills classes, and connection with local resources to homeless individuals and families. Comprehensive services are individualized to address both immediate and long-term needs with a focus on self-sufficiency.
The housing and homelessness prevention programs of NVFS can also help families. Individuals and families requesting shelter should call the Prince William Coordinated Entry System (CES) at 703-792-3366. CES is a process developed to ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access.
