Who We Are
Oasis Social Ministry helps homeless individuals change their lives, achieve greater self-determination, and acquire the skills and abilities necessary to get and keep good jobs that will provide a living wage and enable them to obtain and maintain permanent housing.
They offer intensive case management to a diverse homeless population. This population is also representative of those who faces mental, physical, emotional, and substance abuse problems. The purpose is to help individuals improve their lives by providing a range of job-related services that will enable homeless individuals to move toward independence and self-sufficiency. Programs include:
- food pantry
- soup kitchen
- hygiene kits
- HIV testing
- culinary training
- identification
- Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless (PVH)
- community service
Food drive thru hours are Tuesday and Thursday 9 am until 11 am. If the Thrift Store is closed, you may request a bag of clothes during the Food hours.
