Who We Are

The Daily Planet's Safe Haven is a 21-bed, free-standing facility that offers transitional housing for the homeless with comprehensive and integrated health and support services for those suffering from mental illness and substance use disorders and/or clients eligible for the Ryan White program. Safe Haven provides 24-hour staff supervision and guidance with the ultimate goal of transitioning clients into permanent housing and independent living. By referral only.

The Safe Haven facility is located in South Richmond in a residential community off Hull Street. Medical and other services not provided on-site are easily accessible by bus.
