Who We Are
Valley Mission offers so much more than just housing and meals. Shelter and programs are provided to the homeless over 18 years of age. Under 18 has to be accompanied by parents. They are open to anyone who needs support and shelter, no restrictions on former living areas.
Living space for single men, single women and families. There are 60 beds for men and 30 beds for women and up to 40 family units. Meals are provided, as well as laundry facilities, personal grooming items, and infant needs. Thrift store vouchers are provided so shelter residents can obtain needed items such as clothing, shoes, etc. Food pantry, soup kitchen, and chapel are available.
The shelter is equipped with a staffed dayroom that includes a seating area for adults, computer lab, counseling suites, an educational afterschool space, teen area, and family entertainment rooms outfitted with age appropriate toys and electronics. This space is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Meals are open to the community, including all special event and holiday meals. Mission encourages donation and serving of healthy and fresh foods whenever possible.
Support services include case management, housing fund assistance, GED classes, referrals to local agencies and thrift store vouchers.
