Retirement Residences for Veterans

Armed Forces Retirement Home is a retirement community for veterans. The Washington location includes 1021 rooms for independent living and the campus includes banks, chapels, convenience store, post office, laundry, barbershop and beauty salon, dining room and 24-hour security staff. Also offered are social, recreational and occupational activities, including a golf course, walking trails, garden plots, fish ponds, fitness center, computer center, bowling alley, and recreation rooms.

Daily transportation is scheduled to surround hospitals, including military and VA centers.

Persons eligible for residency are those who are honorably discharged members of the Armed Forces, at least one-half of whose service was not active commissioned service (other than as a warrant officer or limited duty officer), who fit into certain categories.  Please call for more information.
