Vocational and Fitness Rehabilitation

The Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center provides comprehensive rehabilitative/educational services to prepare persons with disabilities for employment and optimum independence in community living. Vocational evaluation is a process of identifying and assessing the vocational interests, strengths, abilities and functional needs relative to a job or employment. 

Also available is a Pre-employment Rreadiness and Education Program (PREP).



Center recreation staff promotes leisure and recreation experiences as valuable dimensions of health and wellness as it applies to vocational readiness. The Recreation Services Department offers a wide range of recreational facilities and activities in a modern, therapeutic environment. Choices range from highly-competitive athletics for the able-bodied and persons in wheelchairs, to noncompetitive sporting games and the creative arts.
