Crisis Intervention, Amherst Counseling Center

Amherst Counseling Center (ACC) provides face to face crisis assessments, pre-admission evaluations for voluntary or involuntary inpatient psychiatric services;; face to face and/or phone crisis intervention and emergency custody order evaluations.



These services are provided in the local hospital emergency rooms, at the Courtland Center and in the community.  Crisis services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.



Crisis Stabilization services are provided on a residential unit to assist individuals who are undergoing a behavioral health or co-occurring behavioral health and substance abuse crisis.
