Veteran Counseling

Norfolk Vet Center provides readjustment counseling, employment information and referral services for Vietnam Era Veterans, Veterans from Persian Gulf, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and Women Veterans experiencing trauma. The veteran may need employment, family counseling, or referral services. They also help veterans to utilize their VA benefits.



They offer "rap groups" and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings at the center. Other resources are available including a network of federal, state, city, and community-based organizations that can help with discharge review, veterans benefits, drug and alcohol treatment, medical care, legal aid, and emergency services.
