Who We Are

RAM House manages a day shelter for the homeless. Breakfast is offered as well as a hot day meal served from Noon until 1 pm.  RAM House has a clothes closet that is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Guest of the shelter are allowed to use the laundry facilities to do their laundry, detergent is provided. 

The Day Shelter provides eligibility screening for many human service programs. Provides cooperative programs with the Virginia Department of Health.

The Shelter Manager organizes the day labor program. Organizations often come to the shelter for day laborers. People can learn about other resources available to help them regain their independence.

Donations for the HAT Team's Welcome Home Basket's and the Day Shelter's meal site are welcome. Call for donation information. This agency uses volunteers.

This is the administrative office for the many RAM programs. RAM is a cooperative effort of religious organizations, civic groups, citizens and corporations to provide for the needy and homeless in the Roanoke Valley.
