Who We Are
Free tutoring is offered to any adult resident of the county who desires to improve his/her reading and writing ability, or is a newcomer to the United States who wishes to learn the English language. Individuals age 16 and older are eligible for this program if reading below the fourth grade level, or unable to reasonably communicate in English.
Services are offered until applicant is comfortable with English. Family literacy tutoring is also offered. This service is provided by volunteer tutors.
