Who We Are
City of Alexandria's Dislocated Worker program provides re-training and employment services for workers who have lost their jobs due to company lay-offs or downsizing. The program provides access to job training courses, subsidized and unsubsidized employment placements. Employment specialist can assist with a job search, provide information and referral for supportive services, including transportation, medical exams, nutritious meals, and more.
