Who We Are

The Winchester Center of Hope, at the Salvation Army, Winchester, offers emergency temporary shelter. The Shelter houses men, women, and children due to eviction, alcohol, or drug problems, or homelessness. The shelter has a kitchen on-site, a dining facility, and a social area with television, reading materials, and games for the children. Information about community resources is available. A bulletin board at the shelter has church information, employment information, and other community resources. Each person has the opportunity to meet with a case manager, financial manager, and receive employment information.

The shelter is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
