Who We Are

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services assists veterans and their families in obtaining State, Federal and local benefits to which they are entitled. Benefits can include the categories of: Compensation, Pension, Education, Insurance, Housing and Medical. 

The Department acts as informed advocates in the preparation, presentations and prosecution of all claims, and serves as a clearinghouse providing information and assistance that will enhance a veteran's quality of life.

Also serves the county of Sullivan, Tennessee and the city of Bristol, Tennessee.
