Who We Are
Portsmouth City Schools offer adult education classes. Offers adult and alternative educational services and provides adult basic education, adult GED program, high school credit classes, special interest classes, and computer classes.Classes are designed for students who are 18 years and older and not enrolled in school. The programs include:
Basic Adult Education: Beginning reading skills to non-readers to classes that prepare students to take the GED test. Classes are held throughout the city at churches, schools, community centers and other locations.
GED preparation class is offered on a tuition basis. This class is generally in evenings.
Computer class: Call for type of class and locations.
