Who We Are

The Virginia Department of Veterans Affairs assists veterans and their families in obtaining medical State, Federal, and Local benefits to which they are entitled that they might not otherwise receive.

The Department acts as informed advocates in the preparation, presentations, and prosecution of all claims, and serves as a clearinghouse providing information and assistance that will enhance the veteran's quality of life.
