Who We Are
Hampton Roads Haven, formerly Barrett Haven, offers transitional housing to women age 18 to 64 who are in crisis, with the goal of breaking the cycle of homelessness. In addition to housing, Barrett Haven provides programs and workshops dedicated to financial understanding, emotional and physical health, maintaining positive relationships, continuing education, life skills, case management and more. Staff welcomes women who are veterans, ex-offenders, substance abuse survives, as well as pregnant women.
Staff will work with each individual to develop a Life Action Plan.

Recovering substance abusers must be verifiably drug-free for a minimum of 90 days prior to admission, and be participating in a drug rehabilitative/counseling program.
