*Therapeutic Day Treatment, Children and Adolescents

At The Mount Rogers Community Services Board, Therapeutic Day Treatment provides intensive school-based counseling for youth experiencing difficulty in the school setting due to emotional, mental, or behavioral concerns. Day treatment counselors work with each student to develop an individualized plan of social and self-management skills (such as: anger management, impulse control, appropriate peer relations, organizational skills). Counselors work with the student in daily individual and groups and at weekly family counseling sessions in order to provide opportunities to learn and use these skills.
