Who We Are

The Waynesboro Area Learning and Technology Center (WALT) offers computer classes at the Public Computer Center. The Center currently has 12 computers for 2 and 4-hour time slots for Internet use and training. While the Center serves all ages, certain classes are focused on serving older adults, age 55 and older.  Online class registration is available on the website at: http://waltlearning.org/register. The current classes available range from basic to advanced computer skills including Computers for Seniors.

The Waynesboro Area Learning & Technology Center (WALT) has been re-certified as a training provider for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) customers by the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Investment Board (SVWIB). This certification qualifies WALT to receive eligible referrals from WIA One-Stop Centers for the following training programs: Keyboarding, Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Computers II, Introduction to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
