Who We Are
The Rural Health Program is designed to inform rural and highly rural Veterans about health care services available to them through Veterans Affairs (VA). Veterans can enroll for health care at the Salem VAMC or one of its affiliated outpatient clinics.
Some of the services offered are counseling services, mental health, primary health clinics, dental services, case management, emergency care, physical therapy, prosthetics, women's health, substance abuse, pharmacy, sexual trauma services, stress management, general surgery, audiology, eye clinic, home based primary care and specialty care clinics (cardiology, urology, neurology, etc).
