Who We Are
Adult Education programs assist communities in raising the educational and skill levels of their adult citizens. General Educational Development (GED) tests are offered to those adults (age 18 and over) to prove they have acquired skills equivalent to those of high school graduates. The test is divided into 5 sections: math, science, social studies, writing, and reading.
Preparation classes on each of the 5 sections are offered. Please call for more information. The NRCC Adult Education Program serves the counties of Floyd, Giles, and Pulaski, and the city of Radford.
To receive a brochure of class listings and locations, please contact the Adult Education office at (540) 674-3652 or toll-free 866 462-6722, ext. 3652.
