Potter's House is located at 1709 Pacific Avenue, across 18th Street from the Church. Potter's House volunteers provide a support system for the homeless, working poor, and those in crisis situations by striving to meet their immediate needs. Potter’s House collaborates with other local churches and non-profits to create a support system for individuals experiencing homeless and the working and non-working poor by striving to assist them with their immediate needs.
- Assistance available for Virginia Beach Residents only:
- Supportive items include sack lunches, food orders, rent, electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, and heating oil (Utilities), birth certificates, and personal hygiene items
- Some assistance available for Hampton Roads residents:
- Bicycles, and bicycle repair (proof of a minimum of 2 weeks employment required to obtain a bicycle)
- Clients are eligible for food orders once a month. Clients are eligible for financial assistance once a year.
Volunteers are always needed and welcome. Interested persons are invited to visit the Potter's House on Tuesday or Thursday mornings. The parking lot and entrance are at the back of the building and accessed from 18th Street.
Donations of food, blankets, personal hygiene items, and financial assistance are always needed.
