Who We Are

Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation's (VBCDC)Transitional Housing Program provides affordable rental housing and support services to homeless families and individuals for up to 24 months. The VBCDC provides an array of support services to the families and individuals in this program.  It also works in conjunction with local agencies to provide a comprehensive approach to helping residents maintain employment, increase their skills and income, and obtain permanent housing.  Participants in the program are eligible for the following services:

  • Child Care
  • Transportation
  • Education/Training Assistance
  • Health/Dental Assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • Emergency Food Assistance
  • Housing Start-up Assistance
