GED Classes and Testing

Thorpe House Adult Learning Center is a place for Fauquier County adults to expand their knowledge and enhance skills needed to function effectively as parents, workers and citizens.



GED classes are offered throughout the day Monday through Thursday; evening classes are also available. Staff will work with client to determine their goals and match them with instructional programs.

Potential GED test candidates may take the free practice test to assess their readiness to pas the Official GED Test.  There is a small cost for this. 



GED testing:  Tests are offered every 4-6 weeks at the Thorpe House.  Seats are limited so you must register prior to the test date and have a valid picture id.  Call to get current test dates and fee.
