Who We Are
FACETS volunteers, through their faith communities, prepare and serve a hot, nutritious free hot meal to homeless individuals and families. A hot meal is served every night of the week and twice on Sundays. The meals are served to individuals and families who are living in and around four sites along Lee Highway in Fairfax. The stops include Fairfax Circle Home Depot, the Breezeway Motel, and Christ Lutheran Church. Please call for more information about delivery time and locations.
In addition to providing nutritious food, the meals are an opportunity for our volunteers to meet people in need and refer them to us for additional support. Ongoing medical outreach is conducted by the FACETS staff and a registered nurse to people who receive these meals.
If you are interested in volunteering, the first step is to attend a volunteer orientation. The Orientation Sign Up form can be filled out on the website. You must be 16 to volunteer with FACETS.
