Who We Are
Miriam's House is an organization with plans and programs to prevent homelessness. These programs include Community First; Magnolia Street Supportive Housing; Aftercare Support; HOME (Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement); and Homeless System Coordination. These programs provide housing and rehabilitative services for men, women, and children to prevent homelessness in the community of Lynchburg. It offers intensive case management, money management, employment/job training, counseling, education, parenting, addiction recovery and educational groups. Programs that are available for children are child care, counseling, academic assistance, educational program and enrichment activities.
Other services available are goal setting, parenting training, conflict resolution, mental health services, employment action plans, money management training and self esteem and confidence building.
