Who We Are
CARITAS provides an emergency homeless shelter for single adults. Services provided include case management and daytime shelter. For homeless shelters or emergency shelters, please call the Central Intake who is responsible for an assignment of a shelter. Caritas is part of a coordinated system called the Greater Richmond Continuum of Care that includes street outreach, diversion, emergency shelter, financial housing supports like rapid re-housing, permanent supportive housing, and data measurement.

The men's shelter is at 700 Dinwiddie Avenue, Richmond VA 23224 (36 beds). The women's shelter is located at 2220 Stockton Street, Richmond VA 23224 (28 beds).
