Who We Are

The Hampton VA Medical Center, also known as Hampton VA Health Services, is a 468-bed facility. The Center provides medical services to veteran residents 18 years of age and older. All services of the general hospital are available to the residents of the domiciliary. Clinic services are available upon request of members, and a physical examination is required of each member at least once a year. Rehabilitation services are provided for substance abusers and the homeless.



Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, acute inpatient care, psychiatric care, chronic spinal cord care, long-term care, hospice palliative care, and domiciliary rehabilitative residential care. Serves 15 county areas in eastern Virginia and 10 county areas in North Carolina.
