Who We Are
Laurel Ridge Community College Adult Education offers English as a 2nd Language. English is taught with an emphasis on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills within the framework of independent living skills.
ESL classes are designed to address the non-English speaking individual's basic needs. The class focuses on learning conversational English to enable the student to participate in an English-speaking society.
Classes are held at local schools, churches, and libraries throughout the region.
