Event Description

Real Work for Real Pay: From High School to Employment for Your Child with a Disability will be held virtually on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 6:30 pm until 7:45 pm, and on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6:30 pm until 7:45pm.

Join us for this free, live webinar to learn how your child with a disability can get a job in the community earning minimum wage or higher after graduating high school. Even students with the most significant disabilities can be a part of the workforce if they receive the proper support. 

In this session, you will learn about the benefits of competitive integrated employment (CIE), address fears and myths about working, and look at ways to reduce barriers to your young adult getting and keeping a job.
