Event Description

Community Conversations: Finding Your Way After a Life-Limiting Diagnosis - Online Presented by Hospice of the Piedmont Tuesday, June 22, 1:00–2:00 pm When Bob Kahn, a local entrepreneur and real estate broker, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in December 2020, he did not view his diagnosis as a death sentence. Quite the opposite: he turned away from fear and embraced the idea of living each day to the fullest. Mr. Kahn will join staff from Hospice of the Piedmont to share his story in this virtual event. There will also be a Q&A segment during which community members may ask questions of a panel that will include Mr. Kahn and several healthcare professionals from Hospice of the Piedmont and UVA. Free and open to the public. For online registration and more information, visit www.hopva.org/community-conversations.
