NEW FAMILY CAREGIVER WEBINAR SERIES on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, March through November. The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging and the Fairfax Caregiver Seminar Consortium are pleased to announce their 2021 Caregiver Webinar Series. The webinar series are designed to support family caregivers of older adults and/or adults with a disability. The webinars will explore different caregiver topics, such as neuroplasticity and stroke, driving safety, caregiving loss and grief, legal tools, Medicare, self-care, technology and caregiving, as well as dementia, and financial planning. Please join us for our first session on Neuroplasticity and Living a Full Life Following a Stroke Wednesday, March 17 from noon to 1:00p.m. This presentation will be facilitated by Amanda Rounds, Ph.D., Rehabilitation Scientist at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital and MedStar Health Research Institute. All webinars are free and open to family caregivers, older adults, adults with a disability, professionals, and the community-at-large.
