Who We Are

The mission of Pittsylvania County Community Action, Inc. (PCCA) has been to help people who are in need of assistance. In addition to current programs available to assist citizens, PCCA may be able to assist with three (3) additional programs in an attempt to accommodate the needs of the citizens who live in its service area. These programs are (1) Gift Cards, (2) Medication/Prescriptions, and (3) Rent/Utilities/Mortgages assistance.

To receive either of the three (3) service programs, clients are required to complete the application process indicating their hardship, and upon approval, the applicant will be eligible to receive either or each of the services.  PCCA has an agreement with the local Food Lion Grocery Store to purchase Gift Cards and with several local pharmacists.  Call for more information about utilities and rent assistance.
