Who We Are

Piedmont Soil & Water Conservation District offers financial assistance for septic maintenance and repairs to residents of certain watersheds in Amelia, Nottoway, and Prince Edward.  The applicant must be the homeowner; the home must be an existing residence, no new construction and all work must receive a repair permit and inspection report from the Health Department. 

The District will pay 50% of the actual project cost or estimated cost. Some residents may be eligible for up to 90% financial assistance based on income level. Projects have a certain cost cap.  Visit the website for more guidelines and application information.
