Who We Are

Western Tidewater Community Services Board (WTCSB) Strong African American Families is a seven-week family-centered program that encourages the use of parenting and resiliency skills. It targets African American families' response to challenges they face The program helps adolescents avoid behavior problems, prepare parents for their child's adolescent years and provide caregivers with tools to help youth set and reach positive goals. Any community partners, affiliates or families residing within the City of Franklin or the County of Southampton may submit referrals. The referral form is available on the website.
