Who We Are

The Greater Virginia Peninsula Homelessness Consortium (GVPHC) is a regional body comprised of six separate political jurisdictions: Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. This vigorous and collaborative entity is open to any and all agencies, programs, and individuals interested in working to prevent homelessness on the Virginia Peninsula.

If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness (have received a 72 hour eviction notice), call the GVPHC Housing Crisis Hotline: (757) 587-4202 or call toll free at (866) 750-4431. The Hotline staff will interview you to determine which referral is appropriate, based on your situation, and will work to connect you with available services.

The Housing Crisis Hotline does not provide any direct financial assistance.
