Who We Are
Way to Go, Inc. provides assistance to low-income working families with their vehicle transportation needs. Specific services that are provided include providing a donated or purchased vehicle, repairs, including State inspection, vehicle insurance payments, vehicle fees such as Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), City or County decals, gasoline vouchers, monthly payment to bank or finance company, taxi trips while the vehicle is in the shop, and other urgent needs necessary to maintain employment.
Way to Go uses one of several methods to obtain vehicles if a family does not currently own one. The option used depends upon eligibility for particular programs and a family’s ability to make car payments. Financing is available at a reasonable rate for persons referred by our coalition.
