Who We Are
Offers residential treatment for male alcoholics or substance abusers who have been detoxified prior to the admission interview. The Men's Home provides no educational programs or medical treatment. It is not an AA house but it does offer the support and guidance of a 12-step recovery program. Residents support day-to-day management of The Home by cooking, cleaning, and serving breakfast to Sunday morning visitors.
The Home’s management and board suggest a minimum stay of 90 days; most residents stay six months. The maximum length of residence is one year, based on progress in sobriety. While living at The Home, all residents are required to:
- Pay rent
- Be employed
- Regularly attend AA and Home meetings
- Perform daily household and maintenance chores
- Agree to random drug testing at management discretion
