Veteran's Benefits

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington Regional Office, is responsible for delivering non-medical VA benefits and services to veterans and their families.

Offers information and assistance with educational programs including the G.I. Bill, vocational rehabilitation for the service disabled, Veterans Education Assistance Program and Dependents Educational Assistance. Must meet service requirements and be within eligible time frames.

Pensions and Home Loans. Accepts and files claims for veterans benefits. Requires proof of military service. Call if benefits are delayed. Home loan guarantees are available.

Assists veterans with education and training benefits, and career development. Refers veterans to the Virginia Employment Commission for information on potential job openings.
