Who We Are
The Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Committee of NAACP Virginia seeks to establish a working relationship with those agencies in government (local, state, and national) dealing with the affairs of veterans. The goal is to
- Confirm that the programs are justly and fairly administered to members of the minority,
- Serve and act as an information and resource place for members of the Active Military, Reserves, National Guard, and Veterans,
- Provide information and forms that veterans, or dependents, can use to aid with solving problems,
- Receive and act on complaints of discrimination on account of race, color, or creed
