Who We Are
Martinsburg Veterans Medical Center. Geriatric and Long-Term Care provides services for Veterans who are elderly and have complex needs, and Veterans of any age who need daily support and assistance. Veterans can receive care at home, at the medical center or in the community.
Geriatric and long term care services include home based primary care, homemaker home health, home respite, inpatient skilled nursing and rehab services, inpatient respite care, inpatient hospice and palliative care, geriatric evaluation clinic and medical foster home program. Community-based outpatient clinics are located in Cumberland, Hagerstown, Maryland and Stephens City, Virginia. Contract clinics are located in Harrisonburg and Petersburg, Virginia and Franklin, West Virginia.
